Notes Ben's introduction : "Yeah, so I turn on the Geraldo show, never home at that time man, hit the... hit the remote, big as life the Geraldo show man... so I, you know I... I... panic, grabbed at the remote, started to turn it. And they announce, "On the Geraldo show today, we will have women who have left their husbands, for another woman." And you know, (Tom Fruend laughs) I'm from Claremont man, that happens all the time. But uh, they seemed to think it was extra-ordinary. So... that was the discussion topic for the day... And I figured I'd keep it at that point, I'd... I'd check it out. And they had the women couple on and the men they married obviously out of desperation. And they were... they were being... in my opinion unfair to the two women. They were good people. They were real good people, whether they were men or what their sexual preference was, they were good people. I thought they would have been better suited for parenthood... this, this cat didn't look like he had, you know, all his sandwiches at one buffet table or whatever. (Tom laughs) And it's called, "Mama's Got a Girlfriend Now." [source : Pleasure and Pain, Cardas Record - Transcript by Gavin Conaty - benharper.net] |
